The Light of the World!

“I didn’t realize I was in the dark until the light was turned on!”

Years ago as I was visiting family in South Florida over Christmas, I was looking up a church to visit that Sunday. I said the words above as my sister-in-law turned on the overhead light where I was sitting.

As soon as the words came out of my mouth, I realized the spiritual significance of the words. How many people don’t realize they are in the dark spiritually until the Light of the revelation of Jesus Christ is turned on in their hearts and spirits?

My heart aches when I think of those that walk around battling life’s problems in their own strength, not realizing that there is One who wants to take all of their burdens and pain upon Himself.

But, those who are living in darkness don’t realize they are in darkness! They don’t realize that there is a Light that is waiting to dispel the darkness in their lives. The Holy Spirit desires to turn on the Light of the revelation of Jesus Christ within our hearts and spirits.

I pray that we can be the “bearers of Light” to all those that we come into contact with. May we allow Jesus to shine in and through us! May we be the Light Bearers to a world that needs THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD!! May Your glory shine through us, Lord Jesus!

…for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light (for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth), trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord. Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead expose them…”. Ephesians 5:8-11. NASB1995

*Do you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? Would you like Him to be? It isn’t hard….

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life”. JOHN 3:1618

“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved” ACTS 16:31

“If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved”. ROMANS 10:9-10

“Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out…”. ACTS 3:19

Sin has consequences – physical, emotional, and spiritual. Jesus’ death on the cross was the perfect and complete payment for our sin. The physical consequences may still need to be faced (jail, financial responsibility, etc). But, if we repent of our sin… turn away from it…and place our faith in Jesus…we will know that we will have life after we die – a resurrected life in heaven for eternity with Jesus!! HALLELUJAH!! Precious ones, now is THE DAY OF SALVATION! Are you ready to take that step?

Job Requirement

It is so easy to look at ourselves and feel that we are not equipped or not able to be who God has called us to be or to do what God has called us to do.

It is so easy to focus on things we have done wrong. Why would the Lord want to use me when I have “messed up” so many times?

It is very enlightening in the Bible to see how God used people who had “messed up“ to do mighty things for His kingdom.

Brothers & Sisters, God can and wants to use you for His glory!! The “job requirements” are not that you have a perfect life.

Do you love the Lord? Do you desire for Jesus to be your Savior and Lord? Are you willing to allow Him to work His good and perfect will in and through you?

Then you have everything you need to serve our perfect God!! Trust Him and take the next step of faith!! He is waiting…

FOOTPRINTS…

for we walk by faith, not by sight.    2 Corinthians 5:7

Like a child, I picture us walking in the footprints of our Daddy/Abba.

The footprints are bigger than ours, but we walk in them because we know that we want to be like Him and go where He is going!!

We may not see Him, but we know that His footprints will lead us to our perfect destination.

We know that His footprints will lead us to HIM!!

As we step where He stepped, we are empowered with His very Spirit to walk His Walk!

ABBA!  We want to walk in Your footprints!!

You have already prepared the path that we are to take…all we have to do is walk in it!

Thank You for going before us and preparing the way!!

Thank You, Father, that when Your footprints go in terrain that is too difficult…I see You reach down and carry us until we reach safer ground.

May we see the next step we are to take.  Give us eyes to see, LORD!

May we follow where You lead us — without fear, because we KNOW that You know exactly where we need to be.

We love You, ABBA!!  We trust You, ABBA!  We will follow where You lead!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Your loving daughter, Tina

GRADUATION!

As I was standing in the choir on Sunday worshipping with my Brothers & Sisters in Christ, I noticed something round and red lying on the floor right in front of me. At the end of the church service, I bent down to pick it up and saw that it was a “Graduation” token that had been dropped during the Graduation ceremony that had been held for our preschool students.

I immediately felt the Lord place a spiritual meaning upon the word “Graduation!” I hear the Lord saying that many are going through a time of graduation to the deeper things of God. Many have walked the path of learning and training in the ways of God and are ready to “level up.” Beloved of God, some of the training and molding and shaping has been difficult…but God has used it all for our good…to bring us to a place of being more like Him.

It’s time to lay aside all those things that are holding you back from being all that God has called you to be. And yes…some of those things are good…but God wants you to make room for His best. Don’t settle for less!!

Are you ready to don the robe/mantle that the Lord has been holding for you for such a time as this? Are you ready to take that walk across the stage of life and accept the call of God upon you?

SHINE ON!!

Good morning! Let your “light” shine today (and everyday)!

But, notice that we don’t let ourselves do good works so that we can be noticed and acclaimed…but we do good works so that our Father in heaven will get the glory. It is in and through Him that we are able to do exceedingly well all of the good works that He desires for us to do.

AND He prepared the good works that we are to do before we even do them! So, naturally He should get the glory and recognition.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:10

Shine on, Brothers & Sisters…for the glory of God!! 💥
