EYES FORWARD!!

We are visiting Panama City Beach with family for a few days.

I was brought up in Panama City, FL and have not returned for 50 years!

It is an experience going back after all these years!  Things have changed…

As we are driving, things look different and feel different.

And that’s to be expected after 50 years!!  That was a different season in my life. I have memories, but it’s impossible to return to the way it was.  And that’s okay.

I am in a different season now. And that’s okay too.

Beloved, are you letting your thoughts and emotions return to a time that has passed?

Are you feeling regrets?

Are you feeling sadness?

Are you feeling drawn to how things “used to be?”

Dearest ones, it’s okay to remember…but, don’t spend too much time dwelling and living there.

God is calling you to the NOW!  You are needed NOW!  God has more for you in the days ahead than you realize.

Don’t let your attention and focus be stuck looking backward!

Shoulders back!  Head up!  Eyes forward!

God is calling you to walk boldly with Him into a season that will bring you much JOY…much PEACE…much LOVE!!

It may not come as you expect…it may not look as you expect…but it IS coming!!  Are you ready to turn from the past and jump into your future?

God is ready to make new memories with you.

ARE YOU READY??

How Do We Respond?

Grace = unmerited favor-God’s free gift of love, forgiveness, and blessings that we don’t deserve or earn.

Knowing that God has offered and continues to offer His free gift of grace in salvation… How do we respond?

Knowing that His grace continues to work in our lives empowering us to grow in holiness, to increase in our love for Him and our neighbors, and to continually become more like Jesus…. How do we respond?

I pray that we will respond to His precious gift of grace by being His light in our cities, our states and our nation!

“Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.” 2 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬ ‭

Love Lifted Me

As I was worshipping with my Brothers and Sisters in Christ Sunday morning, during the song “Love Lifted Me,” I found myself beginning to pray:

Lord, help those that don’t know You to be lifted up into Your love.

As they find themselves living below Your will for their lives, lift them up to Your love and will for their lives.

I cry out for them!

Brothers and Sisters, join me in interceding for those that need to meet Jesus and receive all that He has for them…

🔥Revival!🔥

I woke up at 2:00 am this morning from a dream I was having. In the dream, I was at some kind of gathering and I was sobbing. A friend came over to me concerned why I was crying. I looked at her and said, “I am crying out for revival in our nation.” I woke up immediately after that.

My dear friends, a lot of people are talking about how we need revival in our nation/country. But, are we just talking about it…or are we actively seeking it? Are we willing to get on our knees and CRY OUT for it? Are we willing for the Lord to use us as the kindling for the fire? Are we willing to first allow Him to do what needs to be done to revive US to a place of becoming part of the “spearhead” for revival?

🔥My heart cries out for revival!🔥. Will you join me?

OBEDIENCE

Sometimes we need to be willing to go where we haven’t gone before.

We need to be willing to speak when we aren’t sure what God wants us to say…He will lead us.

When He calls, we need to come/go.

We don’t need all the answers – God knows.

We don’t need to feel that we are “ready.” We may never feel that we are ready…but God goes before us and prepares the way.

We just need to be obedient…

Prayer Closet

Many of us have a “prayer closet.” And I have even said that my car is my prayer closet…I do a lot of praying in there. But, really, our bodies should be our prayer closets!

We should be “praying continuously.” No matter what we are doing or where we are – we have an “open line” to our Father…and He has an “open line” to us!

I am learning how to enter into the “secret place” of being alone with Him – no matter where I am or what is going on around me….

**I first posted the above message on Facebook in 2012. As I read it again, the line “and He has an open line to us!” jumped out at me.

I would tweak that statement now to read – and He SHOULD have an open line to us.

Brothers & Sisters, I hope as we enter into prayer, we remember that prayer is a two way conversation. We bring our needs, hopes, and desires to the Lord…and then we pause expectantly waiting to hear from Him.

He DOES want to speak with us. Are we positioning ourselves by giving Him the time and attention to actively hear from Him?

We need to lean in and draw near to the Lord! He’s waiting and ready to respond!
