O Lord, Your Love…

Our enemy, Satan, is often portrayed as a “snake.” The enemy is on the move to cut-off the life flow of the Church! Now our bones are not a bad thing. But, when they are not in the correct position in the body…they can cause trouble.

I believe that the enemy is trying to get us out of “alignment” with the will of God. He is trying to get us to use the “good things” of God in the wrong way!

Discernment is good…but if it is used to humiliate and judge those that need our prayers, it can cause much damage. Leadership is good…but if it is used to push forth our own agenda…it can cause much damage. Prophecy is good…but if it is used to try and control others…it can cause much damage. The anointing of God is good…but if it is used to draw people to us for our own glory…it can cause much damage.

Brothers and Sisters! We must guard our hearts and use the gifts and empowerment of the Holy Spirit for the furtherance of the Kingdom. Everything we do and say should point to Jesus!!

The Lord is pouring out His abundance upon His Church in this new season. He is calling forth His Bride to walk strongly into the future that He has destined for us. The enemy will try to kill, steal, and destroy the Church by getting us to use the blessings of God in the wrong way!

Be on guard!! Everything we do and say should first be filtered through our love for Almighty God…and then filtered through our love for others. It is LOVE that will bring all into correct alignment and position the parts of the body correctly.

LORD! May Your Love flow through us like a mighty river! It is Your Love that will sweep away those things that would cause harm to Your body. It is Your Love that will draw all people to You. It is Your Love that will guard our hearts in Christ Jesus.

O Lord! Your Love is a mighty weapon against the enemy!! It is Your Love for us that enables us to not be ruled by sin anymore. Your Love saved us and brought us back into the right “position” in our relationship with You. And it is Your Love that will break the power of the enemy in the coming days! ~Tina K. Roach

JEHOVAH RAPHA

After church, I decided to get some food from a local restaurant to take home. The restaurant was overflowing with “after church diners”. It ended up being a loooong wait for my order!

But God used this time to use me in prayer for a precious woman undergoing chemo after cancer surgery. First, I prayed with her husband after he shared with me about the situation. Then later, he introduced me to her and I had the honor of praying with her when we were alone together (if you can be alone in the middle of a crowded restaurant)!

I have to say though…it felt like it was just me, her, and the Lord. Everything and everyone else simply fell away into the background…

Thank You, Lord, for using me today for my Sister and for Your glory! I’m so glad for the long wait!! I love You, Jehovah Rapha!! ❤️

God is With Us!

No matter what is happening in your life, never forget that the Lord is walking with you through it.

Lord, help me to look at YOU and not on what is going on around me!

“…Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came to Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, “Lord, save me.” Jesus immediately reached out his hand and took hold of him, saying to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”” Matthew‬ ‭14:29-31‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Weapons Of Our Warfare

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ…(2 Corinthians 10:3-5)

Ahhhh, Brothers and Sisters!  Our minds are a battlefield!!  This Scripture is so powerful!  It reminds us that our weapons are divine weapons…spiritual weapons…and not weapons of our flesh.

It reminds us that we are to “destroy” those thoughts that are raised up against the knowledge of God.  Our knowledge of God is what we have learned through the Holy Scriptures…the revelation knowledge of His Truth that has been revealed to us by His Holy Spirit.

ANY thoughts that go against His promises…His will for us…or His Truth, should be taken captive and destroyed!  Our thoughts are like fortresses.  They can either imprison us in false thinking and not allow us to be free in Christ Jesus…

or they can be fortresses that protect us from the enemy because we have built a “wall of truth” of God’s Word around our minds, souls, and spirits.

Are there any “fortresses” of wrong thinking that are imprisoning you today? Please know that FREEDOM is here for you NOW!! Take God’s Truth and use it confidently and boldly to bring down all those thoughts that go against who God is and who you are in Christ Jesus!! Look in His Word for those “weapons” –words of truth and power – that WILL accomplish for you what you have been unable to do on your own.

Why?

Sometimes we look at our lives and we ask God, “Why?”

We don’t understand why we are going through times of hurt; times of pain; times of weakness; times of warfare. 

Beloved of God!  The Lord is with us in and through it all!  And not only is He with us…

But “…we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose”. (Romans 8:28)

Be assured, precious ones, that no matter what you are going through…no matter how bad it may seem…the Lord loves you!!

What the enemy would use for your destruction – The Lord will use to strengthen you…to equip you…to help you to become more than a mighty conqueror!

This is His promise…this is His Truth!  Believe it and declare it!

Lord, You Are Faithful!

“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” (1 Corinthians‬ ‭10:13‬ ‭NIV)

This scripture reminds us that no matter the temptation – there are others who have journeyed through the same thing.  It’s easy to sometimes feel that we are alone in our journey, but that’s not true!

The Lord uses others to support and help us as we are going through challenging circumstances. As they have journeyed through – so can we!

And even more powerful is God’s promise that He will not let us be tempted beyond what we can bear. AND He will provide a way out. Hallelujah!!

[Prayer]. Lord, You are FAITHFUL!! You are trustworthy! You are more than able to see us through anything that tries to stop us in our journey with You. You go before us and provide a solution, an answer, a way out of our temptations. And You are with us providing all the strength and wisdom we need. LORD, YOU ARE FAITHFUL!!

I Shall Not Be Shaken!!

“I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.  ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭16:8‬ ‭

Have you had times of feeling “shaken” lately?  I know I have.  It may be because of what we have allowed to be before us…what we are focused on. If we are more focused on the news and all that is happening in the world instead of on the Lord, we can be shaken!  If we are more focused on the problems that arise in our day-to-day lives instead of on the Problem Solver, we can be shaken!

Prayer:  Lord, forgive me when I have allowed other things to envelope all my attention and thoughts. I want YOU to be in my line of sight at all times. I want YOU to be my focus and be my right hand. I shall not be shaken!!!
