Relax and Renew

I love when God speaks to me through “signs!” He has gotten my attention through signs on trucks; road signs; signs on buildings; and now a sign in a bookstore.

Yesterday, I felt God’s love and attention while sitting with friends drinking tea in a bookstore coffee shop. I was enjoying this precious time of friendship when I glanced past them into the bookstore itself.

There, right in my line of vision, were the words RELAX and RENEW on a book table sign. Yes, Lord!! I hear You!!

I am reminded that in the midst of pouring out in ministry to others, we need to take time for ourselves. We need to relax and be renewed in God’s presence!

There must be balance! There is a time of pouring out and there is a time of being filled. I am so blessed that I am entering a season of God using me in many ministry settings! And I am so blessed that I have this time of entering into rest, relaxation, and being renewed as I go forward in focus and preparation.

God knows what we need and when we need it! He is so faithful and loves us so much. May we take the time to listen to Him however He chooses to speak: through His Word; through music; through prayer; and yes, even through signs! Hallelujah!!

The Hope of Glory

We need to be true to Him and what level HE is calling us to!

We are in a time of decision…will we only go as far as is comfortable and only as far as is appropriate in the eyes of others?

Or will we raise our faces and our hands to the heavens and say, “I’m not holding back, Lord! You have all of me!!”

A Fire in my Bones!

Sometimes I will be talking to someone and the Lord will give me a Word for them. It will be a Word of encouragement…a Word of calling forth what He has purposed for them.

Sometimes it will be a Word directly from the Bible and sometimes it will be a Word from His heart to theirs.

This can happen one-on-one or it can happen in a group situation when I am teaching, preaching, or giving a message.

It can happen when I am walking into a store and the Lord will show me someone He wants me to go to and speak His love for them. I can choose to walk away and not be obedient to His call…but His Word stirring within me is indeed like a fire burning in my bones!

It also happens when I am on social media. I can be looking at a photo and the Lord will speak a Word to me as I’m looking at it. This happened recently with an “eagle photo” a friend of mine posted. I will be writing a post with this Word soon.

Also, many times as I’m writing a comment or a private message to someone…the Lord will begin to speak a specific Word to them that I find myself typing. It’s not planned…it just flows forth.

Ahhhhh Lord! Continue to speak Your Word through me!! Continue to breathe on the fire that is within me and make it burn brighter! I am forever Yours, Almighty God!!

It’s a Good Day!

Lord, may we not waste the time we have been given on meaningless pursuits. May we fill the 24 hours of TODAY with love of You and love of others. Through our words and our actions, may we make a difference in someone’s life! They are waiting to feel a touch from You, Lord. Use US to be Your vessel and reach out in Your Name. We glorify and honor You THIS day, Lord! And in ALL our days that follow!

THRONE ROOM

“Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne was standing in heaven, and One sitting on the throne.”

I just discovered the song, Throne Room, recently. The minute I heard it, I was transported in the Spirit to the awesome splendor of being in the Lord’s presence.

I am a worshipper! I may not be the most accomplished singer (even though I’m in the choir at church) but my spirit, soul, and body engages in deep worship that surpasses singing…that surpasses simply saying the “words.”

I am an expressive worshipper! I use that term meaning my body joins in when I sing songs of worship. My hands raise in Adoration to the King of kings; I humbly bow in the majesty of His presence; and sometimes I fall to my knees with face covered when I am faced with the splendor of His presence…

There are times when I see myself dancing before His Throne. This happens often when I am drawn into deep worship. I see myself clothed in a white flowing gown. I see myself dancing in complete abandonment – not having to worry about what others may think. My thoughts are only on Him…and I can feel His attention on me as I pour out my love upon Him through dance.

I am aware that the Throne Room is full of activity with angels and saints – but all of it is dimmed in comparison to the One that holds my attention.

Lord! I am overwhelmed that You see me amidst everything going on! I am overwhelmed that You love me in spite of all my weaknesses and mistakes! I am overwhelmed at the Love that I can feel flowing within me and over me as You receive my dance of worship!

Brothers & Sisters! As you listen to the song of worship below, I encourage you to not only listen – but to enter in! Let go of those things that would hold you back. Pour out your love of our Lord with body, soul, and spirit. He is worthy of our focused, undiluted, worship. May we join together and worship Him in spirit and truth! He is looking for that kind of worship – for those kind of worshippers. (John 4:23)

STORM PREPARATIONS

I kept getting notifications on my phone that significant storms/weather were coming to my area.  I could see the flashes of lightning and hear the rumbling of the thunder in the distance.  As I was listening, the thunder got louder as it moved closer.

Past experience has taught me that during storms my electricity has a good chance of going out.  With darkness coming, I began to make my preparations in the event this happened.

As I began my preparations, I heard the Lord speaking:

A SPIRITUAL STORM IS SWIRLING IN THE ATMOSPHERE!  ARE YOU MAKING PREPARATIONS?

I AM CALLING MY WATCHMEN!  I HAVE GIVEN YOU EYES TO SEE AND EARS TO HEAR WHAT’S COMING.  STAY ALERT!  SOUND THE ALARM WHEN THE ENEMY IS DRAWING NEAR TO THE GATES.  CALL FORTH THE ARMY!

I AM CALLING MY WORSHIPPERS!  GO BEFORE THE ARMY WITH SINGING AND DANCING.  SING A NEW SONG!  DANCE A NEW DANCE!  A NEW SOUND IS GOING FORTH THAT WILL BREAK STRONGHOLDS AND BIRTH DESTINIES!  RELEASE THE SOUND!

I AM CALLING MY PROPHETS!  LAY ASIDE YOUR OWN AGENDAS AND TAKE UP MINE. SEE WHAT I SEE AND HEAR MY VOICE.  I AM RELEASING MY PRESENCE IN A GREATER WAY.  SEEK ME…DRAW NEAR TO ME…FEEL MY HEART.  SPEAK FROM THIS HEART CONNECTION YOU HAVE WITH ME.

I AM CALLING MY PEOPLE!  DO NOT REACT TO CIRCUMSTANCES GOING ON AROUND YOU WITH FEAR, ANGER, HATE, AND DIVISIVENESS.  DON’T LET EARTHLY CIRCUMSTANCES DRAG YOU DOWN, BUT LET ME RAISE YOU UP!  RISE UP LIKE ON THE WINGS OF EAGLES AND SPEAK MY WORD OVER EVERY CIRCUMSTANCE.  SPEAK LIFE! SPEAK PEACE!  SPEAK RECONCILIATION!  SPEAK RESTORATION!

A SPIRITUAL STORM IS COMING!  ARE YOU MAKING PREPARATIONS?  DRAW NEAR TO ME, BELOVED.  TAKE MY HAND AND LET US FACE THE STORM TOGETHER.  MAY WE SPEAK TO THE STORM IN ONE VOICE!

STAND UP!  HEAD UP!  EYES FORWARD!  MY BANNER OVER YOU IS LOVE!  ONWARD & UPWARD, MIGHTY WARRIORS OF LOVE!
