FREEDOM!!

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power!   1 Corinthians 4:20

As I was typing this, I saw a vision of fireworks!  On the Fourth of July, many people go with their families to watch fantastic displays of fireworks celebrating our freedom as a nation.

I believe the vision I had was reminding us that we, as God’s people, can celebrate our spiritual “Independence Day!” We are now free from the penalty of death for sin….Jesus paid the price!!  We have been given eternal life!

It was for freedom that Christ set us free;  therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.   Galatians 5:1

Beloved of God!!  Are you walking free in Christ Jesus?  Jesus is our Great Deliverer!!  He has delivered us from the bondage of evil!  He has delivered us from the power of sin! If there is anything today that has you in bondage…let today be your DAY OF FREEDOM!!!

I see great displays of the FIREWORKS of God all over the earth!!! HALLELUJAH!!

We will see great displays of His Power in the coming days!!

LET THE CELEBRATION BEGIN!!!!

I hear the Lord saying:

My Spirit within you equips you to do GREATER works than I did while walking this earth–so don’t underestimate your value in the kingdom.

Barometer or Thermostat?

[sigh]. Why do we have to lose electricity every time there is a rain storm or there is one close by. (It’s not even raining here!). 😟

And I feel the Lord giving me a spiritual application:
We can be affected by what is going on around us – even if it’s not happening to us directly! The spiritual atmosphere can cause spiritual consequences. So, the solution?

CHANGE THE ATMOSPHERE!

May we be thermostats and not simply barometers. May we not only discern what is going on spiritually – but may we change the spiritual atmosphere and temperature! 

 Yes, Lord!!!

YOUR FUTURE IS NOW!

Our past experiences help to make us who we are today. Those experiences that we look upon as “good” and those experiences that we label as “bad” all work together to bring us into the place we find ourselves today.

It is so comforting to know that no matter what experiences we have had, God can use all of them for our good.

“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”       ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭ESV‬‬

We all learn from the good times we have had and from the bad. It is easy to look back with regret…wishing we had done things differently…but, we can’t allow the enemy to trap us in that place of regret.  God can use even our regrets to change our future.

It is easy to look at things that we consider the “high points” of our lives and want to drag them into our today and dwell in that place of good feeling and accomplishment.  But, God wants to open up new “high points” for us!  We mustn’t allow our past accomplishments to take the place of all that God wants to do in and through us NOW!

Beloved of God, we learn from our past but we don’t live there.  God has so much MORE that He has planned for you!  Glance back…but keep your focus and attention firmly ahead!!

Your future is manifesting in the present – don’t miss it!

YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

How are you today, Beloved of God? Are you fighting a battle that seems like you can’t win? Are you still waiting for breakthrough? Does it seem like God is far away?

You are not alone! The Lord is very near! He feels everything you are feeling. He sees everything that is trying to break you down. He is ready to deliver you from the snare of the enemy!

Be encouraged and be strengthened to go forward armed with the Lord’s Love and Victory!! HE SEES YOU!! HE LOVES YOU!! YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!

“The LORD sustains all who fall and raises up all who are bowed down.”   Psalm 145:14
