As we navigate through life, we need the wisdom and guidance of the Lord. Dearest ones, don’t try and make all of your life choices and decisions alone. Seek the Lord!! He always knows what’s best for us and He desires to join us on our journey. You are not alone!!!
May we walk in the Truth of your word, O LORD!!! May we allow Your Truth to define our lives and not the lies of the enemy!!!!!!!
What is the Lord calling you to do next? Put away all fear, anxiety, doubt…you aren’t in this alone. The Lord is with you and will equip you to fulfill His purpose. He will strengthen you…He will guide you…He will protect you. Be strong and courageous!!
Read the Word; Speak the Word; Pray the Word; Live the Word!!
Jesus still leads us to Himself with His radiating light when we seek Him with our whole heart. Lord, may You open our eyes to see; our ears to hear; and our hearts to receive!! Glory to God in the highest!!
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” Philippians 4:8 ESV
Well, the days of quarantine and staying at home continue. As we are separated from others physically and separated from participating in some things that give us pleasure, it is easy to dwell on those things that make us frustrated or angry or sad.
We are instructed in God’s Word to take control over our thoughts! We are not to let our thoughts control us – to control how we feel – but we are to control what thoughts we allow to “hang around.” [2 Corinthians 10:5]
If we allow God to guide and direct our thoughts – we will discover that we can change our focus from thoughts of doubt, negativity, blame, frustration, and hopelessness to thoughts that focus on those things that are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent, and praiseworthy.
In other words, what are things that we are THANKFUL for? May we take each day and write down those things/people/circumstances that are commendable and deserve our praise.
Let’s not just write them down once a day, but let’s have a running list that continues throughout the day as we are proactive in bringing our thought life into alignment with God’s thoughts.
LORD! We are so thankful that You are with us 24/7 as we journey through this quarantine season. Help us, Lord, to take control of our thought life. May our thoughts and our words be full of life and love and praise. Help us to see others through Your eyes and may we be vessels of honor and truth and love. Oh LORD!! YOU are the One at the top of our list who is worthy of our praise!! And we praise You each and every day! HALLELUJAH!!

Be ready for the unexpected!! And that unexpected for me this morning was receiving a call on the way to church from my Pastor (who was sick) asking for me to preach in both Services!
Pastor David, we prayed for you and I will continue to pray until you are well!! Rest and be strengthened in Jesus’ mighty name!!
Today, the Lord had me walk out the last Scripture I posted:
“Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:16 ESV
Well, if God’s Spirit dwells within me, then what have I to fear? The Holy Spirit guides me and empowers me to speak what His people (including me) need to hear.
I am thankful and humbled to be a vessel of Almighty God!!! I am thankful and humbled to be able to fill in for my pastor when he is sick and needs time to heal! I am thankful and humbled to partner with God whenever He calls and wherever He calls!!
I would say to YOU, dear Brothers & Sisters….BE READY FOR THE UNEXPECTED!!
And the way to be ready is to draw near to the Lord and to stay near. He is preparing you for what’s ahead. Are you ready?
