…for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.
(1 Samuel 16:7)
We must be careful to not take people and circumstances at “face value”. What we see with our fleshly eyes is not necessarily what the LORD sees!
LORD, may we have Your eyes and Your Vision that we may see things as they really are.
May You continue to improve my Vision, Lord!! May You align my vision to YOUR Vision. I not only want to HEAR You, but I want to SEE with Your eyes! I want to FEEL what You feel! I want to SPEAK Your Word! Mold and shape me, Lord, into a vessel that is filled to overflowing with Your LOVE!! In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. AMEN!
As I’m sitting at the gate in Dallas/Ft. Worth airport, my thoughts go to all that has taken place over the last 5 days. I always feel a revival of my spirit at the Aldersgate Renewal Ministries Conferences. I am physically tired – but my spirit is full!
I am so thankful for being a part of the ministry that has taken place. It is a joy to serve the Lord and serve others. My heart is full!
I am so humbled to have been able to participate in Prayer Teams, Prophetic Prayer Team, Coordinate the Word Gifts Team, lead an adult Equipping Session on the power of our words, and lead a Youth Equipping Session on prophecy.
But also the unscheduled moments of praying with people that the Lord connected me with. Getting to know Brothers and Sisters from near and far and sharing our hearts for the Lord. Such a blessing!
And those overwhelming moments of WORSHIP! Oh my! I am so thankful to have a place to worship with all my heart and soul. The worship team was anointed and powerful. Thank you Jonathan C Dow for your leadership! It is always a joy to join you in worship of our amazing God!
Thank you Christen Ball for the Song of the Lord that flows through you with such power! My spirit leaps as I listen to the Holy Spirit sing to me through you.
The Keynote Speakers spoke into my life! I walk away with spiritual “food” that will challenge me and ignite me in the next phase of my journey.
And lastly, I want to thank and honor Mark Barrow, the Executive Director of Aldersgate Renewal Ministries. God clothes you with gentleness, humility, love, power, and authority. I am so blessed to be in ministry with you and to name you as my Brother and Friend! Onward & Upward!!
I can’t begin to share all that has taken place…but I did want to share some of it with you, dear friends. Thank you to all of those that have held me up in prayer. You know who you are!!
Next year the Conference will be in Peoria, Illinois. I would encourage you to pray about joining me and experiencing what God has planned for YOU!!❤️
Good morning! I had this plant on my porch but wanted to enjoy it more…so I brought it inside.
As I’m typing this, I feel the Lord saying that He is getting ready to move some of you to a different place. It isn’t necessarily a “big” move…but a repositioning. He will be moving you to a place of greater influence and ministry for Him!
HIS Beauty will shine through you and that will not only give Him greater joy but also those around you!
As I placed the plant, I found myself turning it so I could get the greatest view of its blooms. The Lord causes a “turning and shifting” in our lives that will bring Him the greatest glory!
Brothers & Sisters! YOU are a beautiful planting within the Lord’s Garden! Let the Master Gardener do His work!!
May you BLOOM where you are planted by God Almighty!!
May you be filled to overflowing today!! May the Holy Spirit empower you and prepare you for the destiny you are stepping into! Mold us and shape us, Lord, into a vessel that can carry Your FIRE!!
I don’t know about you, but I can’t say that I always follow this exhortation from Paul in my life. I WANT to live a life worthy of the calling I have received. I WANT to be completely humble and gentle. I WANT to be patient toward others…especially toward others who may try my patience. And I WANT to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
I would say that most of us desire that kind of life. But, if you are like me, as soon as difficult circumstances arise… I find it difficult to get myself out of the way and live the life I am called to live.
I start to focus on everything I lack. I focus on my weaknesses. I judge my words and my actions and I come up short. Very short. It is during these times that I press into the Lord and open myself to receive what He so lovingly offers to us.
He gives us His strength for our weakness. He takes away our lack and gives us everything we need to go forward into our calling. He lifts us up when we fall and sets our feet on the right path. He walks beside us in our journey and is there with us in everything we face. Thank You, Lord!!
So! With the Lord’s help, I will continue to press into living a life worthy of the calling I have received. Will you join me?
I believe what You say of me, Lord!! In You I find my worth and identity!! I believe!!!
