While on vacation, I took two of my granddaughters to a ceramics studio. I have not been to one in over 30 years! I had a very hard time picking out the one I wanted to paint. There was a very large selection of ceramic pieces to choose from.
Finally, I saw the one I wanted! After painting it two different colors/ways…and not being satisfied…I finally chose one all over color and then different colored “spots.”
I am a very visual person. One of the dot colors I chose was black. It immediately didn’t feel right and I stopped and waited for inspiration. I immediately thought – black symbolizes our sin. I then found myself reaching for the red paint and painting over the black with red. The blood of Christ shed on the cross for us cleanses us from our sin! His blood redeems us/frees us from the power of sin and restores us into right relationship to Father God! Hallelujah!!
“…you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.” 1 Peter 1:18-19
BELIEVE!
“…if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;”. Romans 10:9
“For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.”” John 6:40
I bless you, my friends, and speak this blessing over you:
“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
I went to our garage to get in my car to go to church this morning. Before I opened the car door, my eyes were drawn to the beautiful colors on the garage wall beside my car.
I looked around to see where the “reflection” was coming from. I looked but couldn’t spot where it came from.
I then heard in my spirit – “the glory of the Lord…”. Now, I know that this was probably a reflection of something… but, I also know that the Lord has spoken to me many times through physical things I have seen.
As I meditated on God’s Glory on the way to church, my thoughts went to several Scriptures:
“…all the earth will be filled with the glory of the Lord.” Numbers 14:21
“A voice is calling, “Clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness; Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God. Let every valley be lifted up, And every mountain and hill be made low; And let the rough ground become a plain, And the rugged terrain a broad valley; Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed, And all flesh will see it together; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”” Isaiah 40:3-5
“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
“For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, As the waters cover the sea.” Habakkuk 2:14
I choose to use what I saw this morning as a reminder of the glory of the Lord that is real and true!
May the glory of the Lord be revealed and may all flesh see it together!!
Are we prepared and ready to share the hope we have in Christ Jesus to others? We can’t and shouldn’t expect “someone else” to do it! God is calling US to be His witness!
Forgive me, Lord, when I only do those things for You that I am comfortable in doing! I want to be ready at all times to be able to share YOU with those that don’t have the “hope” that I have. May I be a worker in your harvest!
“…sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence…” ( 1 Peter 3:15)
So looking forward to joining my brothers & sisters in North Carolina!! I will be attending and have the honor of serving and ministering at this beautiful location. I invite you to join me. Get ready to have a powerful encounter with the Lord!! 💥💥💥
