For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, “Do not fear; I will help you.” (Isaiah 41:13)

The GREAT WORK!
Yes…the Lord is calling YOU to a great work! But, don’t worry. He does not expect you to be able to do it with your own strength! He calls…and then He provides you with everything you need to do His Will! Are you ready to answer His call?
I also believe that what we consider a “great work” may be different than what the Lord defines as a “great work.”
Yes, reaching thousands of people through an Evangelistic Crusade is a great work. But, being obedient and reaching that one person the Lord has put in your path is also a great work!
Yes, Healing Crusades where thousands of people are healed is a great work! But, laying hands on and praying for that one person seeking God’s healing is also a great work!
I believe the GREAT WORK that the Lord is calling us all to is to LISTEN & OBEY!!
Whatever the Lord is encouraging you to do – THAT is the great work that is waiting for you!
And He does indeed provide you with everything you need to do His will!
Are you ready to answer His call?
Divine Appointment
I had what I would call a “divine appointment” today!
I was shopping in a local clothes store and went to the counter to purchase my items. As the young sales girl walks up to help me –she grabs her back and says, “My back hurts so bad! I’ve taken all kinds of medicine and nothing helps!”
(Well, the Lord opened the door-so I walked through.) I asked if I could pray for her back and she enthusiastically said, “Yes!”
We held hands and I prayed for her right at the counter. Need I say it was out loud. 😃.
When I was done, she was so thankful, and as I left I said, “I believe the Lord will continue to heal your back as you are working today!”
Ah Lord! Thank you for this precious encounter! May this young lady come face-to-face with Your healing Power and Love! In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
TRUST HIM!
I am in the midst of preparing to lead a 75 minute Equipping Session at the Aldersgate Renewal Ministries Conference in Lexington Kentucky, June 29-July 2.
My usual preparation for teaching/leading large groups in ministry is to write down everything I will say. (I don’t do this for a small group Bible Study). I usually begin by reading/speaking what I have written. But, usually sometime during the ministry, God takes over and I walk away from the “paper” and the words flow. God gives me the words to say!
I know that in my preparation God is guiding and leading me, but I have desired to “unchain” myself from the words on the paper and simply connect to the words that the Lord has put in my heart and spirit.
Even last Sunday, as I was preaching while my pastor was out of town, I had my iPad “paper” in front of me and I was reading what was written. But, in my prayer time the Lord had let me know exactly when I was to stop and walk away and let Him “put the words in my mouth.”
I have felt a “shift” as the Lord is writing His words on my heart! His “ink” is much stronger than the ink of the printer!
Yes, I am still preparing for my Equipping Session. He is giving me an Outline of what I will talk about and I have Scriptures that are foundational to the teaching. But, every time I think about typing what I will say…I feel a “stop” in my spirit. The Lord is gently raising me to a new level of trust. Do I trust Him to put the words in my mouth? Do I trust in His ability to guide me as I speak? Can the Holy Spirit speak through me?
I absolutely believe the answers are YES to these questions – and have even taught on it. But, now the LORD is encouraging me to put “feet” to my belief!
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power. 1 Corinthians 4:20
The theme of the Conference is THE POWER OF GOD and the title of my session is An Empowered Life! It’s interesting that the Lord chose this period of time to release me into a new season of walking out His empowerment in my life! LOL! I won’t just be teaching on His Power in us – I’ll be living it!
What has the Holy Spirit been leading you to do that will take a new level of faith and trust to accomplish? I am here today to say to you:
TRUST HIM! Trust Him to accomplish in you and through you more than you can dream or imagine! TRUST HIM!

More Than You Can Handle!
I see so many times people making the statement, “God doesn’t give you more than you can handle.” Actually this is NOT a true statement! I understand why people say it. They are trying to make someone who is going through a hard time feel better. So they will be encouraged that God knows they can “handle it.”
But, God DOES give us (or allows) us to have more than we can handle on our own so we will realize we need Him to do it!
If we can handle everything on our own – we don’t need Him. If you look at the Scriptures, you will see many, many examples of people doing amazing feats that they would be incapable of handling “on their own.”
Whatever you are going through…God is MORE THAN ABLE to see you through it! He is with you every step of the way!
All For Your Glory, Lord!
Preaching this morning at the 11:00 service at my home church. I have prayed…I have prepared…I have placed it in God’s hands.
Lord, thank You for ministering through me. I know it is a challenge! LOL! Thank You for what YOU have planned this morning! I bow to YOUR WILL! All for Your glory, Lord…all for Your glory! Amen!
The Lord’s Plans!
The Lord’s plans are unfolding in our lives! Some of these plans will not “look like” what we have been used to in the past. Some of these plans are not conforming to our timeframe.
But His plans ARE good and we must trust Him and step out in faith. We must be open and willing for HIS PLANS to open up before us – whatever they may be. And we must be willing and open to let Him take us where we need to go – wherever that may be.
TRUST IN THE LORD!!
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV)

What Do You See?
…for we walk by faith, not by sight–2 Corinthians 5:7
May we walk every day “seeing through eyes of faith” instead of seeing only what we physically see. May we look at everything from a heavenly perspective.
May we see with the eyes of Jesus!
Things are not what they seem. We need to let Jesus strip away our preconceived ideas about what we are seeing or what we think things should look like.
May we see with the eyes of Jesus!
May we call forth those things that are not…as though they were. May we speak God’s will and let Him use us to help align earth with heaven!
May we see with the eyes of Jesus!
