GROW!

May we not be “satisfied” to stay exactly as we are today! May we seek and desire to rise up into the revelation and positioning of who we are in Christ! Growth means change. Have NO FEAR to grow into what the Lord has prepared for you!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV)

CONNECTION

Good morning! May we find someone today that we can connect with and let them know that they are loved! Sometimes all that is needed is to smile and to give them your full attention if they speak to you.

And if they begin to share something happening in their lives – sickness, relationship problems, etc. – can I encourage you to be bold and ask if you can pray with them?

I have connected with strangers in the grocery store and Walmart that are so desperate for release from their problems, that they begin to share personal parts of their lives with me. The Lord opens the door for me to gently take them by the hand and lead them to the One who can bring them through their circumstances.

And the Lord will open that door for you too! Be expectant and be ready!

ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!

All things are possible to him who believes.     Mark 9:23 NASB

What things do you see in your life that need to be changed?

What things do you feel the Lord calling you to do-but you feel that it is just too hard?

Rest easy, my friends!  ALL things are possible if we will just believe that Christ in us CAN work in and through us to make the “impossible” possible.

TRUST HIM TODAY!!

THE DESERT TIME

As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God.   My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.   When can I go and meet with God?   Psalms 42:1-2

A dear friend of mine was talking about spiritually being in a place where it was “flat.” We talked about it being a “desert time.”

I love the mountaintop experiences, don’t you? I love to feel that surge of knowing God’s closeness, His presence. I love seeing God everywhere I look and hearing Him in every sound. It’s hard when that fades away and the experiences of the “everyday” intrude where once only God was. It’s not that He’s no longer there, but for whatever reason….we have allowed the circumstances of the everyday to take over…or He has pulled back to remind us of how much we need Him…for whatever reason, we just know that we are no longer on the mountaintop, we are in the desert.

I believe that the LORD allows the wilderness and desert experiences because He knows how we are…He created us. When things are going great, when we have no challenges, nothing to overcome—we begin to forget that we NEED our God. After all, everything is good.

But, when we feel all alone in our struggles, in our inability to “handle” things—then we remember that we are weak and He is strong. He is our Rock; our Anchor; our Wisdom; our Peace; our Joy; our Strength!

He is the reason we are overcomers. But, we can’t be overcomers unless we have something to overcome!

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.  To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.  Revelation 2:7

So, brothers and sisters in Christ…don’t despair when you feel that you are in the “flatlands” or the “desert.” Keep walking; keep persevering and push through!! The oasis…the river of cooling, life-giving water is there in the distance…just waiting for you to drink your fill! Can you see it? Sparkling with love—ready to flow through you in rivers of living water.

Come! And quench your thirst, My beloved!!

PRECIOUS WHISPERS

“What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the housetops.”‭‭Matthew‬ ‭10:27‬ ‭NASB‬‬

Jesus was speaking this to His disciples. And I believe Jesus speaks these words to us today. We should have no fear to speak and proclaim what He is speaking to us!

May we walk in boldness and love as we share what God is saying to His people. May we invite and listen to His precious “whispers.”

God is speaking!  Are we listening?

Who Do YOU Say That I Am?

He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” And Jesus said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.” ~Matthew‬ ‭16:15-17‬ ‭NASB‬‬

I believe that Jesus asks each of us, “Who do YOU say that I am?

Our answer has a great effect on how we live day to day. And I believe that our answer may change over time as we get a deeper revelation of Who He is!  Not that our original answer is wrong…but that we will begin to understand who He is more fully!  Hallelujah!! What would your answer be to Him today?

OUR PATH GUIDE

deer 5

The Sovereign LORD is my strength;  He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, He enables me to tread on the heights.  ~Habakkuk 3:19

I am so thankful that the Lord is my strength!  I must not rely on others to strengthen me…I must not rely on good books to strengthen me…I must not rely on anything that is physical to give me the strength I need.  Physical things are temporary; people can let you down….BUT GOD!!  He will never let us down.  He is always there to refill us time and again with His strength!  Our strength will fail, but His strength will never fail.  His strength is always there for us. Thank You, Lord!!

He has made our feet like “the feet of a deer.”  As the deer’s feet are made to grip and be able to stand firm and move confidently on the unlevel and upward path of the mountains…so our feet are made to stand firm and move confidently upon the upward path that the Lord has called us to.

God makes us walk on our “high places.”  What high places has He called you to walk upon?  The path may seem too challenging.  The top may seem too high, too far away. But, the Lord is our Path Guide.  He will place out feet upon ground we can trust to hold us.  For He is our ground!

*I have a vision of mountain climbers. You know how someone who is inexperienced is hooked by a guide rope to the experienced climber. He goes ahead and leads the others to where they should follow.  As long as he is hooked and connected to the guide…he will know exactly where to step.*

Ahhhh Lord! Thank You for leading us. Thank You for attaching yourself to us. It is never Your desire for us to wander from the path. May we never choose to unhook that guide rope! We are lost without You!
