Sometimes we forget that these are the fruit of the SPIRIT!
When we try and produce this fruit under our own power – we fall short.
This fruit will be evident in our lives to the extent that we allow the Holy Spirit to work in our lives!

SPRING!
Has your spiritual life been in a season of “Winter?” Have you felt that you have been in a time of inactivity or a time of slumber? Have you snuggled into that place of comfort and found yourself not wanting to venture into the unknown?
Well! It is a NEW SEASON! Today is the first day of SPRING! It is a time when you will see NEW LIFE begin to erupt in your ministry and in your church! A time of NEW GROWTH, STRONGER GROWTH, and FOCUSED GROWTH has arrived! The spiritual “seeds” in your life that have been covered and hidden until the right time are beginning to emerge!
Do not be discouraged if the Lord is still pruning you – taking away all of those things that are keeping you from having the healthy, abundant growth that He desires in your life. This pruning will make way for the new growth. EMBRACE THE PRUNING!
It is time to open your arms wide; turn and lift your face towards the Light of Jesus; allow the Living Water of the Holy Spirit to flow in you and from you; and breathe in the life-giving breath of God!
Are you ready to leave Winter behind and step into Spring? It is a choice, a commitment, and a FAITH step! REACH FOR THE LIGHT AND GROW!!
“For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true.” (Ephesians 5z:7-9 NLT)
FIRE Burning Brightly!
I love the stained glass cross window in our Sanctuary! At certain times, the sun blazes through the window and the reflection on the opposite wall looks like the cross is on fire! Oh Lord! May the FIRE of Your Holy Spirit burn brightly in us and through us! May we be a reflection of Your glory!
REJOICE!
Lord, this is the day that YOU have made. I CHOOSE to rejoice in it! You have given me each second, each minute, each hour. May I spend each one of them in such a way that what is bought is eternal. May I not waste the precious time that You have allotted to me! May I not take for granted the time that is before me. Thank You, Lord, for THIS day…may I live it for You…
Show His LOVE!!
I believe there will be many opportunities to “pass judgment” in the coming days. The enemy would love for us to be a harsh, judgmental people. He would love to use us in his position as “accuser of the brethren”.
Oh, Beloved of God! We are called to LOVE! To love our friends…to love our enemies…to love the “saved”…and to love those that are being wooed by the Holy Spirit to become a part of the Redeemed!
Show the Love of God to that person that is not acting in a loving manner. Show the Love of God to those that you don’t agree with. Bring the Love of God into all places; in all circumstances; to all people.
The world shall know us by our LOVE!!!
God LOVES You!
“But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort. Anyone who speaks in a tongue edifies themselves, but the one who prophesies edifies the church.” 1 Corinthians 14:3-4 NIV
The Lord has called us to speak His heart and His vision. We are to walk in His Gifts with His Love. If someone gives a personal prophecy and it tears that person down; releases a spirit of condemnation upon them; and makes them feel less than who God has called them to be — then I would question if it was from God.
I have had correction from the Lord…indeed God corrects those He loves. But, even in the correction, I have felt God’s Love flooding over me. Correction is not condemnation.
I speak GOD’s LOVE over you dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ! No matter where you are in your walk, please know that God has a plan and purpose for you – and it is GOOD! He hears your prayers. He SEES you. Nothing is hidden and He loves you. He draws alongside of you and takes your hand…He looks deeply into your soul and spirit and He loves you.
I feel someone’s fear and shame today and I say, “Lift your head and behold your God! He will never leave you or desert you. You can TRUST HIM!
HE LOVES YOU!!
Unhindered JOY!
…for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and skip about like calves from a stall. Malachi 4:2
When I get a vision of calves skipping about when they leave their stall…I see unhindered JOY! I see a release of care and embracing the moment! Beloved of God! May you live out this vision today!! Look up unto Your God and see your healing and receive it!!
FREEDOM!

Say YES to God! Don’t let your worries keep you from taking that faith step! What is He calling you to do?
Thank You, LORD, for Your plans for my life! I know that You have gone ahead of me and prepared the way. I have nothing to fear! What You have called me to – You have equipped me to fulfill! Hallelujah!! I say YES, LORD!! Have Your way!
